About the author

Kelly Tay

Kelly Tay is a certified parent educator, the founder of Juicy Parenting, and a mother of two.

Through her courses and online membership, she teaches Asian parents how to lead with calm and confidence, not fear and force — so that grown children stay connected with family because they want to, not because they feel obliged to.

With the vast majority of Respectful Parenting resources coming from the US/UK, Kelly’s distinctly Asian point-of-view makes her a unique and crucial voice in the space.

Prior to her career pivot into parent coaching, she was an award-winning journalist who spent a decade in financial writing. She is a Fulbright Scholar (Columbia University), and continues to provide parenting commentaries in the media.
