About Juicy Parenting

At Juicy Parenting, we provide, among others, parent education and coaching services to Asian parents. Through our online membership community, likeminded Asian parents can both seek and share parenting support.

Introduction

By registering for a Member Account (defined below), accessing or using our Juicy Parenting Website, mobile application (“app(s)”), social media account(s) and online membership community (“Juicy Fam Community” or “Community”) (collectively, “Platform”) and our Services (defined below) you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions” or “Terms”).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must terminate your membership with us, cease use of our Services and leave the Platform and Community immediately.

References in this document to words such as “we”, “us”, “our” and “Juicy Parenting” means Juicy Parenting Pte Ltd (Company No: 202400098E).

References in this document to words such as “you”, “your”, “their” and/or “Members” means the visitors to and Members of the Juicy Parenting Platform, as applicable in the context of these Terms.

Our Services

We are in the business of providing coaching support services for Asian parents through among others, our Respectful Parenting for Asians Course, the Ultimate Bedtime Survival Kit and membership of our Community, which contains our Juicy Fam Forum, Juicy Buddy AI-powered chatbot, twice monthly live Group Coaching Calls, Business Recommendations and Discounts section, Mini-Lesson Library, Teaching Time Video Library as well as periodic events that we organise for our Members (collectively, “Services”). We will be launching new features and tools which add to our current Services and such new features and tools shall also be subject to these Terms and Conditions, unless indicated otherwise by us in writing to you.

We reserve the right to update and change our Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to the Juicy Parenting Website. You are advised to check these Terms and Conditions regularly for any updates or changes that may impact you.

Components of the Agreement

You must read, agree with and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in these Terms and Conditions, including our Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy before you (i) continue visiting Juicy Parenting’s Platform, (ii) register for a Member Account, and/or (iii) use Juicy Parenting’s Community and Services.

Our Platform, Community and Services are brought to you through our partnership with our trusted third-party providers such as Circle, Kajabi, Link, Stripe, ThriveCart and Shopify (“Third-Party Providers”) who collect data and help facilitate your access to and use of our Platform, Community and Services. Please note that access to and use of our Platform, Community and Services shall also be subject to your acceptance and compliance with our Third-Party Providers’ terms of use and privacy policies. You must accept and comply with our Third-Party Providers’ terms of use and privacy policies before you continue visiting, accessing and our using our Platform, Community and Services.

Visitors to the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and use of our Services

Section 1: Your Member Account

1.1 As a guest, you may visit/browse the Juicy Parenting Website, watch our free Asian Parenting Training video and/or access our free Parenting Guide by providing us with your name and email address.

1.2 To access and use Juicy Parenting’s Platform, Community and Services, you must register for a Member account (“Account”) by providing your full legal name, a valid email address, and any other information indicated as required. Juicy Parenting may reject your application for an Account, or cancel an existing Account, if we have reason(s) to believe that the information provided is inaccurate/intelligible/duplicate of an existing Account, or for any other reason, in our sole discretion.

1.3 By registering for an Account on the Platform, you enable us to track relevant information such as (but not limited to) purchasing history, browsing history, activity history and the last 4 digits of your billing details.

1.4 You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in the jurisdiction where you reside and from which you access the Platform, register for an Account and use our Services.

1.5 Juicy Parenting’s primary mode of communication with you will be through the email address you provide. It is your duty to ensure that you check your emails regularly for communication(s)/update(s) from us and to notify us of any issue(s) you may face in disruption to your email service or if you have changed your email address.

1.6 Once you have provided us with a valid email address, you will be added to our mailing list and will receive regular communication and access to our free newsletter. When you register for an Account on the Platform, you will also receive email updates on our Community activities.

1.7 Please ensure that your Account password is kept secure. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain the security of your Account and password.

1.8 You are responsible for all activity and content such as photos, images, videos, graphics, written content, audio files, information, or data uploaded, collected, stored, displayed, distributed, transmitted or exhibited on or in connection with your Account and your participation in the Community (“Materials”).

1.9 You understand that your Materials (not including any personally identifiable information such as your full name, email address or credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

1.10 You may choose to sign-up for a membership plan with Juicy Parenting, which gives you access to our Community and Services (depending on your choice of membership plan) and your Member Account. Payment in respect of the membership plan is taken by our payment services provider, Stripe. Please note that unless indicated otherwise, Juicy Parenting does not collect any payment from you directly.

1.11 If you sign-up for a membership plan with Juicy Parenting, you then acknowledge and agree that: (i) our payment services provider will charge you through the payment method you have selected for your purchase and such other amounts that may accrue in connection with the purchase; (ii) that you will provide valid and current information for (a) yourself and (b) if applicable, another person, but only if you have first obtained their express consent to do so; (iii) that our payment services provider may use tools, software or services of payment processors to process transactions on their behalf; and (iv) if your payment is not received by our payment services provider for any reason from your card issuer, you agree to promptly pay all amounts due upon request and using the method that our payment services provider reasonably prescribes.

Section 2: General Terms

2.1 Your use of the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and Services is solely at your own responsibility and entirely at your own risk. The Platform, Community and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory.

2.2 You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in using the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and Services.

2.3 You expressly understand and agree that, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, Juicy Parenting shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting in any way from the use of or inability to use our Platform, Community and Services.

2.4 You further agree to indemnify and hold us and (as applicable) our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, employees, and suppliers harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party or arising out of or in connection with your breach of any of these Terms and Conditions or the documents it incorporates by reference or your breach of any law or the rights of a third party.

2.5 Although we will use our best endeavors to provide the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and Services to you in a timely, efficient and error-free way, you agree that we are unable to warrant and/or promise that the Platform, Community and Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, 100% of the time. In such case, you agree that you will not hold Juicy Parenting liable to any errors or omissions or such acts/incidences that are beyond our control, which may (either directly or indirectly, or otherwise) affect your experience on the Platform, Community and of our Services.

2.6 Your access to the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and Services is at all times subject to our Community Guidelines. Specifically, you may not visit/browse the Platform, Community or use our Services whether directly or indirectly (or otherwise) for any illegal or prohibited activities and neither may you, while participating in our Community and/or using our Services, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws) or the laws of Singapore. Please take note that it remains your sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in your use of our Platform, Community and Services.

2.7 Juicy Parenting reserves its rights to terminate and/or suspend your use of your Account and our Services in the event of any breach/violation of these Terms and Conditions (and the terms referred to in this document). In such event, you will be responsible to indemnify Juicy Parenting and all related parties of any and all loss and damage arising out of your actions, whether directly or otherwise.

2.8 You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Platform, Community or Services we provide, without the prior express written consent by Juicy Parenting.

2.9 You shall not purchase search engine or other pay per click keywords (such as Google Ads), or domain names that use Juicy Parenting or Juicy Parenting trademarks and/or variations and misspellings thereof.

2.10 Should you have any queries in relation to your duties, obligations and rights under these Terms and Conditions, they can be directed to support@juicyparenting.com and we will respond to your queries as soon as practicable.

2.11 These Terms and Conditions shall be binding on you and to your respective heirs, successors, permitted assigns and legal representatives. Juicy Parenting shall be permitted to assign these Terms and Conditions without notice to you or consent from you. You shall have no right to assign or otherwise transfer these Terms and Conditions, or any of your rights or obligations hereunder, to any third party without Juicy Parenting’s prior written consent, which is at all times to be given or withheld in our sole discretion.

Section 3: Juicy Parenting’s Rights

3.1 We reserve the right to remove Materials, suspend and/or terminate your Account, and refuse to provide access to our Community and Services to anyone for any reason at any time. In this regard, Juicy Parenting’s decision to do so is at our sole discretion and all such decision(s) are final.

3.2 Juicy Parenting takes harassment and abuse of any kind (whether written or verbal) of any Juicy Parenting Member, our employee, Member, agent or partner very seriously. Your violation of this provision will result in immediate Account termination without notice and we will forfeit your membership payment. Juicy Parenting will further take steps necessary to enforce its rights against you for breach of this provision and seek to recover from you all ensuing costs and damages suffered as a consequence of your action(s).

3.3 Please understand that Juicy Parenting does not vet and/or pre-approve Materials that you may upload onto your Platform profile and our Community. It is in our sole discretion to refuse or remove any Materials from the Community if and when it comes to our attention that such Materials do not conform to our Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines.

Section 4: Waiver, Severability, and Complete Agreement

4.1 The failure of Juicy Parenting to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Each waiver shall be set forth in writing and signed by the waiving party.

4.2 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions (including all terms and conditions and other documents it incorporates by reference) is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law or otherwise unenforceable, then such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability will not affect any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, and these Terms and Conditions will be construed as if such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision had never been contained within these Terms and Conditions.

4.3 These Terms and Conditions, including the documents it incorporates by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Juicy Parenting and govern your use of our Platform, Community and Services.

Section 5: Intellectual Property and Your Content

5.1 Please note that our Platform, Community and Services, which include but is not limited to our Respectful Parenting for Asians Course and Workbook, the Ultimate Bedtime Survival Kit, our complimentary Asian Parenting Training Video and Parenting Guide, or any of our coaching videos (collectively, our “Courses”), our trademarks, trade names, logos or other information as may be made available through our Platform, Community and Services from time to time, are the intellectual property of and are proprietary to Juicy Parenting. The structure, organisation and content of our Platform, Community, Services and Courses are protected by law, including but not limited to Singapore copyright law and recognized international treaty provisions. Juicy Parenting shall at all times be the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title and interest in and to all the content on our Platform, Community and Services (unless indicated otherwise or where the content are the Materials you upload and/or publish to the Platform and Community, which are dealt with below).

5.2 Registering for a Member Account and/or subscribing to a membership plan with Juicy Parenting does not transfer and/or grant you any intellectual property rights whatsoever in the Platform, Community, Services and/or our Courses and all such rights are expressly reserved by Juicy Parenting.

5.3 Our Platform, Community, Services and/or Courses are made available for your personal use only. For the avoidance of doubt, no part or parts of our content on our Platform, Community, Services and/or our Courses may be copied, replicated, extracted, redistributed, disseminated, altered, modified, customised or used in any form or transmitted by any means, including any other online (or in-person) membership programmes or groups, without the prior written consent from Juicy Parenting. You hereby agree to indemnify Juicy Parenting for and against any claims made against you for infringement, misappropriation or other violation of any of our intellectual property rights.

5.4 We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the Materials you upload and/or publish to the Platform and Community. All Materials you upload to our Platform remains yours and it is your responsibility to ensure that any and all Materials uploaded onto our Platform and Community complies with the applicable laws, including intellectual property laws.

5.5 By uploading Materials, you agree:

to allow other Members to view the Materials you post publicly on the Platform and/or Community;
to allow Juicy Parenting to store, and in the case of Materials you post publicly, display and use your Materials; and
that Juicy Parenting may, at any time, review and delete any Materials submitted to the Platform and/or Community in the event we determine (at our sole discretion) that such Materials contravene our Community Guidelines or is illegal/prohibited. In such instance, our decision to remove such Materials shall be final and binding and any costs associated with the removal of such Materials shall be borne solely by you.

Section 6: Payment of Membership Fees

6.1 You will pay the Fees applicable to your membership plan (“Membership Fees”) and any other applicable fees relating to your purchase or use of any additional services such as the Ultimate Bedtime Survival Kit (“Additional Fees”). Together, the Membership Fees and the Additional Fees are collectively referred to as “Fees”.

(i) Billing Details

6.2 You must keep a valid payment method on file with us to pay for all incurred and recurring Fees. A valid payment method will require (i) a valid email address (through which Juicy Parenting will send you our payment confirmation upon your initial subscription), and (iii) a valid payment method such as a credit card. Juicy Parenting will, through our Third-Party Provider, charge applicable Fees to any valid payment method that you authorize (“Billing Details”), and we will continue to charge the Billing Details for applicable Fees until the Services are terminated, and any and all outstanding Fees have been paid in full (including any applicable charges for late payment and/or taxes, where applicable). Unless otherwise indicated, all Fees and other charges are in United States Dollars, and all payments shall be in USD currency.

(ii) Membership Plans and Billing Intervals

6.3 There are two (2) Juicy Parenting membership plans that you may choose from: (i) Quarterly Membership; and (ii) Annual Membership. The pricing and particulars relating to our membership plans are set out on our Website. Please contact us at support@juicyparenting.com for any queries.

6.4 All membership plans are subject to a minimum three (3)-month subscription.

6.5 All membership plans are automatically renewed at the end of your billing cycle. You will be charged on the same day on the next billing cycle.

6.6 You may cancel your membership at any time, provided that you cancel your membership before your next billing cycle and by following the specific instructions indicated in our Subscriptions & Billing FAQs section of our Community. You may contact us at support@juicyparenting.com for further assistance.

(iii) Late/Non-payment of Fees

6.7 If we are not able to process payment of Fees using your Billing Details, we will send you a Direct Message via our Community and an email to your registered email address to inform you that your payment failed. You will have seven (7) days from the date of our Direct Message to you (notifying you of the failed payment) to update your Billing Details and make a second attempt to process payment using your updated Billing Details. You will have a total of four (4) attempts within the said seven (7) day period to make a successful payment of your Fees. If your fourth attempt is not successful, we will suspend and revoke your access to our content on the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and our Services.

6.8 Your Account will be reactivated upon your re-subscription to our membership plans. Take note that you will not be able to access your Account during any period of suspension. Please further note that any re-subscription shall be at the current membership plan rates published on our Website (and not at the legacy plan you may have subscribed to previously).

(iv) Refunds

6.9 We are confident you will benefit from our Platform, Community and Services. However, if you complete the Respectful Parenting for Asians Course and did not find the course beneficial to you, please contact us at support@juicyparenting.com within fourteen (14) days of your first purchase of our membership plan and we are happy to provide a refund of your Membership Fees.

Section 7: Termination of your Account, access to the Platform, Community and Services

7.1 Upon any suspension, notice of discontinuance, or termination (whether by you or Juicy Parenting) of your Account and access to the Platform, Community and Services by either party for any reason:

Juicy Parenting will cease providing you with access to the Platform, Community and Services and you will no longer be able to access your Account;
unless otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, you will not be entitled to any refunds of any Fees, pro rata or otherwise; and
any outstanding balance owed to Juicy Parenting for your use of the Platform, Community and Services through the effective date of such termination will immediately become due and payable in full.

7.2 We reserve the right to modify or terminate our Platform, Community and Services, these Terms and Conditions and/or your Account for any reason, without notice at any time. Termination of these Terms and Conditions shall be without prejudice to any rights or obligations which arose prior to the date of termination.

Section 8: Changes to our Platform, Community, Services and Fees

8.1 Juicy Parenting is constantly evolving and improving its Platform, Community and Services to give you a better experience. As part of this continual evolution, we may make changes to our Platform, Community, Services and Fees.

8.2 As far as practicable, we will notify you thirty (30) days in advance of any Fees revisions. Such notice of Fees revisions may be emailed to you as a Member and/or posted on the Juicy Parenting Website. Please check your email messages and the Juicy Parenting Website regularly for any such updates.

8.3 Juicy Parenting reserves the right at any time, and from time to time, to modify or change (all or part of our Platform, Community and/or Services) such as adding or removing features and functionalities, offering new digital content or services or discontinuing old ones. We may also need to alter or discontinue the Platform, Community or Services, or any part of it, in order to make performance or security improvements, make changes to comply with law, or prevent illegal activities on or abuse of our systems (as permitted by applicable laws).

8.4 Juicy Parenting shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of our Platform, Community or Services. If you disagree with any such modification or change, you may terminate your relationship with us by contacting us at support@juicyparenting.com.

Section 9: Third-Party Services

9.1 Our Platform and Community is brought to you through our partnership with our trusted Third-Party Providers (who collect data and help facilitate your access to and use of our Platform, Community and Services). Please note that access to and use of our Platform, Community and Services shall also be subject to your acceptance and compliance with our Third-Party Providers’ terms of use and privacy policies.

9.2 Juicy Parenting may from time to time recommend, provide you with access to, or enable third-party software, applications, products, services or website links (collectively, “Third-Party Services”) for your consideration or use. Such Third-Party Services are made available only as a convenience, and your purchase, access or use of any such Third-Party Services is solely between you and the applicable Third-Party Providers. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you also agree to be bound by the additional service-specific terms applicable to services you purchase from, or that are provided by, Third Party Providers.

9.3 Any use by you of Third-Party Services is entirely at your own risk and discretion, and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and/or privacy policies applicable to such Third-Party Providers before using them.

9.4 Please take note that Juicy Parenting does not, in any way whatsoever, warrant or guarantee the quality of the Third-Party Services. You acknowledge that Juicy Parenting has no control over Third-Party Services and shall not be responsible or liable to you or anyone else for such Third-Party Services. The availability of Third-Party Services on our Platform and Community or the integration or enabling of such Third-Party Services with our Services does not constitute or imply an endorsement, authorisation, sponsorship, or affiliation by or with Juicy Parenting. You acknowledge that Juicy Parenting may disable access to any Third-Party Services at any time in its sole discretion and without notice to you.

9.5 If you install or enable a Third-Party Service for use with the Services, you grant us permission to allow the applicable Third-Party Provider to access your data and other Materials and to take any other actions as required for the interoperation of the Third-Party Service with our Services, and any exchange of data or other Materials or other interaction between you and the Third-Party Provider is solely between you and such Third-Party Provider. Juicy Parenting is not responsible for any disclosure, modification or deletion of your data or other Materials, or for any corresponding losses or damages you may suffer, as a result of access by a Third-Party Service or a Third-Party Provider to your data or other Materials.

9.6 The relationship between you and any Third-Party Provider is strictly between you and such Third-Party Provider, and you agree that Juicy Parenting is not a party to or obligated to intervene or resolve any dispute arising between you and a Third-Party Provider.

9.7 Under no circumstances shall Juicy Parenting be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, extraordinary, exemplary or other damages whatsoever, that result from your use of any Third-Party Services or your contractual relationship with any Third-Party Provider. The foregoing limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

9.8 You further agree to indemnify and hold us and (as applicable) our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, employees, and suppliers harmless from any claim or demand, including legal fees and all ensuing costs, arising out of your use of a Third-Party Service or your relationship with a Third-Party Provider.

Section 10: Feedback and Reviews

10.1 Juicy Parenting welcomes any ideas and/or suggestions regarding improvements or additions to our Platform, Community and Services. Under no circumstances shall any disclosure of any idea, suggestion or related material or any review of our Platform, Community or Services (collectively, “Feedback") to Juicy Parenting be subject to any obligation of confidentiality or expectation of compensation.

10.2 By submitting Feedback to Juicy Parenting (whether submitted directly to us or posted on our Platform and/or Community), you waive any and all rights in the Feedback and that Juicy Parenting is free to implement and use the Feedback if desired (for any purpose deemed fit by us), as provided by you or as modified by us, without obtaining permission or license from you or from any third-party. You will not submit any Feedback that you consider confidential or proprietary.

Section 11: Business Recommendations and Discounts

11.1 Please read this section carefully as they contain additional terms that apply specifically when you browse our Biz Recs and Discounts section in our Community.

11.2 In addition to the Services that we offer in our Community, Juicy Parenting also makes available a user-generated list of businesses that have been recommended by our Members through their personal experience.

11.3 Please note that whilst the businesses or service providers that have been listed on our Biz Recs and Discounts section (“Vendors”) have been recommended by our Juicy Parenting Members, we are unable to guarantee or warrant the quality of the products or services sold by the Vendors or to ensure that the products or services are fit for purposes as described by the Members who have made the said recommendation.

11.4 As the Vendors have not been personally verified or endorsed by Juicy Parenting, we cannot be responsible for your use of and makes no warranty to the information contained in or linked from the Biz Recs and Discounts section. You are strongly encouraged to take all steps necessary to verify the Vendors before proceeding to engage their services.

Section 12: Links to Juicy Parenting’s Website

12.1 You may link to the home page of our Website, provided you do so in a way that is legal and is not likely to damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

12.2 The Juicy Parenting Website must not be framed on any other website, nor may you create a link to any part of our Website other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

Section 13: Juicy Buddy AI- chatbot

13.1 This section governs a Member's access to and use of our Juicy Buddy AI-powered chatbot made available through the Platform.

13.2 Juicy Buddy is our in-house trained AI-powered automated educational and informational tool. It is designed as a content-navigation and resource-discovery tool to assist Members by locating, retrieving and presenting information, educational content, resources, materials, articles, guides, training content and other information available within the Platform's proprietary knowledge database. It highlights up to three (3) of the most relevant resources in a chat-style conversation and is available 24/7. Juicy Buddy is a complementary service available to all Members with a valid membership plan.

13.3 While reasonable efforts are made to maintain the quality of information contained within the Platform's knowledge database, Juicy Buddy may generate incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading or incorrect responses. We do not warrant that any response generated by Juicy Buddy will be accurate, complete, reliable, current, suitable for a Member’s circumstances and/or free from errors. Any actions taken by a Member based on information provided by Juicy Buddy are undertaken entirely at the Member's own risk.

13.4 Juicy Buddy does not provide personalised parenting advice, counselling, therapy, psychological services, medical advice, legal advice, social work services, crisis intervention services or any other regulated professional service. Juicy Buddy is intended solely as a supplementary information tool and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for decisions affecting a Member, a child, a family member or any other person.

13.5 Responses generated by Juicy Buddy are automated and generated without human review unless expressly stated otherwise. Juicy Buddy does not operate in the same manner as a general-purpose conversational artificial intelligence system and is not intended to engage in extended, open-ended, interactive dialogue.

13.6 The primary function of Juicy Buddy is to identify, retrieve, summarise and direct Members to content and resources that may be relevant to the Member's query based on existing information contained within the Platform’s knowledge database. Juicy Buddy is not designed to develop an ongoing therapeutic, coaching, counselling or advisory relationship with any Member.

13.7 In accessing and using Juicy Buddy, you acknowledge that responses generated by Juicy Buddy may be limited to recommending, summarising or highlighting relevant Platform resources and may not provide comprehensive answers to every question posed.

13.8 Juicy Buddy is not monitored continuously by humans. It must not be used for emergency situations, urgent safety concerns, child protection matters, mental health crises, suicidal thoughts, self-harm concerns, threats of violence, abuse situations, medical emergencies or any other urgent matter requiring immediate assistance.

13.9 If you believe that you or another person may be at risk of harm, you must immediately contact appropriate emergency services, healthcare providers, crisis support services or other relevant authorities.

13.10 While we may implement limited keywords that may trigger an internal notification to a human team member, we do not guarantee that any message submitted to Juicy Buddy will be reviewed by a human or responded to within any particular timeframe.

13.11 In addition to certain keyword triggers, Juicy Buddy also permits a Member to request review or assistance from a human team member. While we endeavour to respond to such notifications within a target timeframe, no guarantee is made that a human review will occur and/or that a response will be provided within any specified timeframe. You acknowledge that any trigger-detection system may fail, may not identify all situations requiring human assistance and should not be relied upon for safety, welfare, crisis or emergency purposes. Members remain solely responsible for seeking appropriate assistance where required.

13.12 Members acknowledge that information submitted to Juicy Buddy may be reviewed by a human team member and processed for the purposes of generating responses, improving services, maintaining quality assurance, compliance purposes and/or managing Member support.

13.13 You must not submit content that:

is highly sensitive;
contains personal information;
is unlawful;
infringes the rights of others;
contains malicious code;
is abusive, threatening or defamatory; or
otherwise breaches our Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines.

13.14 We may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue Juicy Buddy at any time without notice.

Section 14: Disclaimers, Warranties and Limitation of Liability

14.1 The information provided through the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and Services are educational and informational in nature only. In accessing and using the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and Services (including but not limited to the Juicy Buddy AI-chatbot), you agree and acknowledge that we are not a healthcare provider, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, counsellor, social worker, medical practitioner or other licensed professional and neither are we qualified or represent ourselves to be so qualified to provide any such professional advice to you.

14.2 Specifically, you agree that at Juicy Parenting, we do not provide mental advice, mental health advice, psychological assessment, counselling services, diagnosis of any physical, developmental, behavioural or mental health condition, treatment recommendations, crisis intervention services and/or any other professional healthcare service.

14.3 Any information provided by us on the Juicy Parenting Platform and/or via Juicy Buddy relating to parenting, child behaviour, emotional regulation, family relationships, mental wellbeing, child development or similar topics is intended solely for general educational purposes and must not be relied upon as medical, psychological, therapeutic or clinical advice.

14.4 Members should consult appropriately qualified healthcare professionals, mental health practitioners, therapists, counsellors or other relevant professionals regarding any medical, developmental, behavioural, psychological or mental health concerns affecting themselves, their child or any other person.

14.5 Specifically, we expressly disclaim any representation that Juicy Buddy is capable of assessing, diagnosing, treating, preventing or managing any medical, psychological, psychiatric or mental health condition and that no interaction with Juicy Buddy creates a therapist-client relationship, counsellor-client relationship, healthcare-provider relationship or any similar professional relationship between the Member and Juicy Parenting.

14.6 Members should always exercise their own judgement, independently evaluate and verify all information made available by us on the Juicy Parenting Platform (and as generated by Juicy Buddy) before relying upon it. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether professional advice should be obtained.

14.7 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juicy Parenting and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, claim, cost or expense arising directly or indirectly from your use of the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and/or our Services and any information contained therein.

14.8 To the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded, liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

14.9 You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Juicy Parenting and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents and representatives from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from your access and use of the Juicy Parenting Platform, Community and/or our Services.

Section 15: Circumstances Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)

15.1 If the performance of any part of these Terms and Conditions by either party is prevented, hindered, delayed or otherwise made impracticable by reason of any flood, riot, fire, judicial or governmental action (including, but not limited to, any law, regulation or embargo prohibiting the performance contemplated under these Terms and Conditions or the failure or refusal of a government agency to issue a license required for any performance pursuant to these Terms and Conditions), labour disputes, act of God or any cause beyond the reasonable control of that party (“Force Majeure event”), the party will be excused from such performance to the extent that it is prevented, hindered or delayed by such cause. 14.2 The parties further acknowledge that while current events related to the COVID-19 pandemic are known, future impacts of the outbreak are unforeseeable and shall be considered a Force Majeure event to the extent that they prevent the performance of a party's obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

15.2 Notwithstanding anything in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, the party prevented from performing under these Terms and Conditions by a Force Majeure event will nevertheless use its best efforts to recommence its performance under these Terms and Conditions as soon as reasonably practicable.

15.3 For the avoidance of doubt, we reserve absolute discretion on the solution we adopt in fully meeting our obligations under these Terms and Conditions despite the Force Majeure event.

Section 16: Notices

16.1 Any notice, approval, request, authorisation, direction or other communication (“Notice”) under these Terms and Conditions (and the documents and agreements referred to herein save and except for our Privacy Policy) shall be given in writing via email to the relevant party at the email address last known to the other:

where such written Notice is to be given to Juicy Parenting, the said communication shall be sent to support@juicyparenting.com; and
where such written Notice is to be given to you, Juicy Parenting shall Direct Message you to your Account in the Community and/or use your last known email address as updated by you in your Account.

Section 17: Governing Law and Language

17.1 These Terms and Conditions (and the documents and agreements referred to herein) shall at all times be governed by Singapore law. Any dispute arising out of and in connection with the application of these Terms and Conditions (and the documents and agreements referred to herein) and/or your compliance with the terms thereof shall be determined by Singapore law and parties subject exclusively, to the jurisdiction of the Singapore Court(s) in the event such dispute requires judicial determination.

17.2 All dealings, correspondence and contacts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.
