Community Guidelines

Introduction

1. The Juicy Fam Community (“Community”) is a key component to the coaching support services provided by Juicy Parenting. Once registered as a Member, you will be granted access to our Community – where you will begin your journey with our Respectful Parenting for Asians Course. Once you have completed our Respectful Parenting for Asians Course, you are welcome to explore the various Services set-up within the Community for your benefit. You may choose to attend our twice monthly live Group Coaching Calls, read and participate in our Mini-Lessons, watch our Teaching Time Videos, peruse our Business Recommendations and Discounts section and post questions and provide support to fellow Members in our Juicy Fam Forum.

2. To help ensure a safe, trustworthy and supportive experience, we maintain a set of Community Guidelines that include rules and standards for using our Services and participating within our Community. Our Community Guidelines apply to all our Members and all your interactions within our Community, regardless of your chosen membership plan with Juicy Parenting.

3. These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) are owned by Juicy Parenting Pte Ltd (Company No: 202400098E) (“Juicy Parenting”).

4. References in this document to words such as “we”, “us”, “our” and “Juicy Parenting” means Juicy Parenting.

5. References in this document to words such as “you”, “your”, “their” and/or “Members” means the registered Members of the Juicy Parenting Platform, as applicable in the context of these Guidelines.

6. Capitalised terms used but not defined in these Guidelines shall have the meanings set forth in our Terms and Conditions.

7. Your access to the Juicy Parenting Platform (which includes the Juicy Fam Community) and use of our Services is strictly subject to your acceptance of and compliance with these Guidelines as well as all the terms and documents referred to and set out in ourTerms and Conditions.

8. If you do not agree with these Guidelines, you must terminate your membership with us, cease use of our Services and leave the Platform and Community immediately. If you breach any of these Guidelines, we will terminate your membership with us, forfeit any payments that have been made to us, and remove your access to your Account, our Platform, Community and Services.

Our Services

9. At Juicy Parenting, we provide, among others, parent education and group coaching services. We welcome you to post your parenting questions and dilemmas on our Juicy Fam Forum and/or to search our historical posts within the Community for help/guidance.

10. The education and training materials provided on our Platform are intended for a general audience and does not purport to be, nor should it be construed, as specific advice, therapy or counselling tailored to any individual. By being here, you acknowledge that Juicy Parenting does not provide medical advice nor purports to do so. The contents of our Platform, Community and Services are meant purely for informational and educational purposes only.

11. Our Platform, Community and Services are not a substitute for therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional care. If you have or suspect you and/or your child may have behavioural issues or health concerns, you should consult a doctor or a qualified healthcare provider. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on our Platform or Community.

Permitted Activities

12. Given that the Community is a space to learn about Respectful Parenting, it goes without saying that interactions between Members are expected to remain respectful.

13. Please do:

(a) Introduce yourself: Please tell us about yourself when you join our Community. We want you to share who you are. In our “Introduce Yourself” section, we have some prompts to help you introduce yourself;

(b) Use the Juicy Fam Community and our Services only for lawful purposes, and you shall bear the burden of establishing that such use complies with all applicable laws;

(d) Be kind and respectful, even when you disagree: There is nothing quite so triggering as discussing parenting styles that may be different from our own. Healthy debates are natural, and as long as people are kind and respectful, things would not descend into chaos. We are all here trying to be better parents and people; it starts right here with this Community;

(e) Exercise discretion when posting Materials: We encourage open sharing within our Community. However, please exercise discretion when posting personal material such as photographs of yourself and/or your children in our Community;

(f) Respect everyone's privacy: Everyone who is here has made the brave decision to be open about their parenting struggles - these can often be extremely private and sensitive, so what is shared in this Community should stay in this Community; and

(g) Share your wins: At Juicy Parenting, we believe that every win should be celebrated – no matter how small. Share your parenting wins with us. Your stories help to inspire other parents.

Prohibited Activities

14. The following activities are prohibited:

(a) Child exploitation: You must not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that exploit or abuse children, including but not limited to images or depictions of child abuse or sexual abuse, or that present children in a sexual/abusive manner;

(b) Adult products/services: You must not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that promote, buying or use of adult products/services, including but not limited to sex toys, sexual enhancement products, sexually oriented adult products (such as pornography), images of nudity (even if not sexual in nature) or sexual services;

(d) Harassment, bullying, defamation and threats: You must promote or condone, post or upload Materials that harass, bully, defame or threaten a specific individual/entity. Remember to be kind and courteous when you direct message a fellow Member of our Community too;

(e) Hateful content: You must not promote or condone hate or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, colour, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition or any other forms of discriminatory intolerance;

(f) Illegal activities: You must not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that contravene or that facilitate or promote activities that are hazardous, or contravene the laws of Singapore or the countries from which you access and use our Platform, Community and Services;

(g) Intellectual property: You must not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that infringe on the intellectual property rights (such as copyright or trademarks) of Juicy Parenting and of others;

(h) Malicious and deceptive practices: You must not use the Platform, Community and Services for deceptive commercial practices, illegal or deceptive activities or to transmit malware, spyware or host phishing pages. You must not perform activities or upload or distribute Materials that harm or disrupt the operation of the Platform, Community and our Services, including our third-party providers;

(i) Personal, confidential, and protected health information: You must not post or upload any Materials that contain personally identifiable information, sensitive personal information, or confidential information, such as credit card numbers, confidential national ID numbers, or account passwords unless you have consent from the person to whom the information belongs or who is otherwise authorised to provide such consent. Similarly, you must not use the Community or your Account to collect, store, and/or process any such information. Please respect the safe space that is created within our Community and do not share snippets of discussions that take place within the Community anywhere elsewhere, in any medium or form, whether anonymised or otherwise;

(j) Restricted Items: You must not offer goods or services that are, or appear to be guns, firearms, explosives, explosive precursors and/or post or upload Materials relating to the use and/or sale or promotion thereof;

(k) Self-harm: You must not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that promote self-harm;

(l) Spam, poaching, self-advertisement: You must not use the Community to transmit unsolicited commercial electronic messages; and

(m) Terrorist organizations: You must not offer goods or services, or post or upload Materials that imply or promote support or funding of, or membership in, a terrorist organization.

Juicy Parenting’s Rights

15. Please note that as the owner of this Community, we may, from time to time, share snippets of discussions from the Community on our Platform for educational and learning purposes. In such instances, unless we explicitly receive your permission to use your real name and any identifiers, we assure you that any such sharing will always be anonymised.

16. We may, at any time and without notice, remove any Materials, and suspend or terminate your Account or your access to our Platform, Community and Services if you (i) engage in activities that violate the letter or spirit of these Guidelines, and/or (ii) engage in any activities that contravene the laws of Singapore or the countries from which you access and use our Platform, Community and Services.

17. Juicy Parenting has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor or investigate any Materials and your use of our Platform, Community and Services at any time for compliance with these Guidelines and ourTerms and Conditions. Our determination of whether a violation of these Guidelines has occurred will be final and binding, and any action taken with respect to enforcing these Guidelines, including taking no action at all, will be at our sole discretion.

18. We may, from time to time, provide access to other external websites on our Community if we so believe that the information contained in those websites may be beneficial or informative to our Members. Please note that the provision of access to other external websites in our Community is solely for your convenience and does not imply Juicy Parenting's endorsement of, or affiliation or association to, the linked websites or their operators.

Limitation of Liability

19. Juicy Parenting shall not be liable for any damages of any nature suffered by you through your use of our Platform, Community and Services.

20. Juicy Parenting reserves the right to revise and/or update any part of these Guidelines at any time by posting a revised version on the Juicy Parenting Website and any such revisions/modifications are effective at the time it is posted. By continuing to use our Platform, Community and Services or access your Account after a revised version of the Guidelines have been posted, you agree to comply with the latest version of the Guidelines.

21. While we take reasonable steps to monitor the Materials that are posted on the Community, please understand that we do not vet/pre-approve Materials before they are published on the Community. We expect you to exercise discretion and good judgment and not to breach these Guidelines when participating in our Community and using our Services.
